PBR BlueDEF Tour announces full 2016 schedule

PUEBLO, Colo. (Jan. 7, 2016) — This weekend, the Professional Bull Riders BlueDEF Tour presented by Real Time Pain Relief (BDT) gets into full swing with a stop at Oracle Arena in Oakland, California. The tour officially kicked off Nov. 14 in Ontario, California, with events in Bakersfield, California, and Cincinnati, Ohio, taking place in the following weeks. 

After a break for the holidays, the BDT will buck through 2016 culminating with the BlueDEF Finals that will take place at South Point Arena in Las Vegas on Oct. 28-30, leading into the PBR’s 2016 Built Ford Tough World Finals. The winner of the BlueDEF Finals, the second and third place finishers, and the highest finishing international athlete, along with the 2016 BlueDEF Tour Champion, will each qualify to compete at the PBR World Finals.

“The 2016 BlueDEF Tour schedule has come together extremely well with stops in key markets that are important for the continued growth of the series,” said David Cordovano, the head of the BlueDEF Tour. “These cities represent a good cross section of the PBR fan base that will provide increased exposure for our sponsors and engagement with our fans."

The BlueDEF Tour will bring the talent of the PBR that fans have come to expect from the leader in the sport of bull riding, along with the excitement and hard-hitting competition of the toughest sport on dirt to cities across the U.S., including:
