PBR - NYC - News & Notes

  • The win in NYC is Cody Nance's first event win since San Antonio in 2010 and his 4th Career win.
  • Pistol Robinson is out for the season after being stepped on by Carrillo Cartel.  He sustained a right thigh mid-shaft femur fracture, along with a left leg tibia and fibula fracture. He is scheduled for surgery on 1/9.



  • Colby Yates suffered separated ribs during the second round. He did not compete on Sunday and is questionable for next weekend's BFTS event in Anaheim.


  • Canada's Ty Pozzobon finished 7th in NYC.  His highest finish ever on the BFTS.


  • Brazil's Marco Eguche finished 9th in NYC, making this his best finish ever on the BFTS.


  • There were 137 bulls mounted in NYC over 5 go rounds and 71 Qualified rides, making for a 52% average. Of the 137 bulls mounted there were 131 40+ Point outs making for a 96% average.
Dakota Beck rides Sunday in the Professional Bull Riding Rocky Mountain Bull Bash in downtown Steamboat Springs. Beck won the seventh annual event, pocketing a championship belt buckle and more than $5,000.
  • 20 year old Dakota Beck sustained a broken cheek and facial/oral lacerations after being hit by Big Spread on Friday night. Beck received 20 stitches inside and outside the far left corner of his mouth.
