In other news, NYC champ Cody Nance had a very disappointing weekend. After going 5 for 5 in New York, Nance went 0 for 2 in Anaheim and drops to #2 in the BFTS Standings.
The PBR's Amazing Racer Cord McCoy had a nice bounce back weekend going 2 for 3 as did Justin Koon by going 2 for 4 after both cowboys failed to cover any bulls and going 0 for 3 in NYC.
After 2 events you need keep your eye on one cowboy that is on fire and is “the one to watch” this season. That cowboy is Canada’s own, Ty Pozzobon. Ty is 5 for 9 (55.56%) after 2 events and in 4th place in the BFTS Standings (only 517.25 behind leader, Valdiron de Oliveira). Ty had only 4 qualified rides all of 2011. On the livestock front, the bulls definitely had a good weekend versus the cowboys. 100 bulls were mounted yet only 37 qualified rides were made for a 37% average with Asteroid having the highest bull score at 46.75.
