Calgary, AB: The biggest and mos well known Outdoor Rodeo in the entire world wrapped up last night in Calgary last night. Why do I call it the most well known? Well when someone finds out I rodeo the first thing they always ask me is if I have have been to Calgary before for the Stampede. All I can tell them for now is I rode there when I was a steer rider. That will change someday.
Until then though here are this year’s $100k Champions:
Tie Down Roping: Tuf Cooper
Steer Wrestling: Straws Milan
Bareback Riding: Clint Cannon
Saddle Bronc Riding: Chad Ferley
Barrel Racing: Sydni Blanchard
Bull Riding: Shane Proctor
Steer Wrestling: Straws Milan

The Borealis Rodeo Team this year made a big splash as well. Bareback Riders Ryan Gray and Jason Havens made it to the final ten round but were unable to qualify for the final four.
Jesse Torkelson and Ty Pozzobon each made themselves some money at the Stampede this year too but were unable to get through to Showdown Sunday from Wildcard Saturday.
Sierra Stoney made some money too but didn’t get back to Sunday through her Saturday’s run.
Novice Bareback Rider Cole Goodine Won his event by a half a point taking home The Calgary Stampede Bronze. Dillon Ritter was bucked off his horse and didn’t make the short round.
Desperados Bar made themselves a name in Calgary Stampede Party Spots and will keep that name for years to come. Check them out any time and you will still be treated great year round.
