Suit Claims Negligent Design Caused Fatal Crash


According to mycentraljersey.com staff reporter Joseph P Smith, attorney Fred Jacob has filed a lawsuit in New Jersey Superior Court, on behalf of Neil Parker's estate and his widow, Betsy Jo Parker.
Betsy Jo Parker, is suing Old Bridge Township Raceway Park, the National Hot Road Association (NHRA), the James Walker Company of Pikesville, Md., and TraFix Devices Inc. of San Clemente, Calif. 
The suit states that Neil Parker, died June 11, 2010 from head injuries suffered in a crash when an “array of safety devices” failed to stop his vehicle before it struck a wall after reaching a speed of 249 mph.
