Pedregon Racing and Iconic STP and Armor All Brands Team Up

Revving up its marketing and promotional engines, Armored AutoGroup, owner of STP® and Armor All® brands, and Pedregon Racing today announced a multi-year sponsorship of Tony Pedregon's NHRA Full Throttle Nitro Funny Car .


Pedregon, the 2003 and 2007 NHRA Full Throttle Nitro Funny Car Champion, will drive the car and display the iconic STP® and Armor All® brands in the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing series. During the 2011 season, STP® will be designated as the primary sponsor at Las Vegas, Houston and Sonoma and an associate sponsor for the remaining races. Armor All® will be deisgnated as an associate sponsor for the full season.

The STP®/Armor All® Nitro Funny Car will debut at the SummitRacing.com NHRA Nationals in Las Vegas April 1-3. Qualifying begins Friday and eliminations will take place Sunday at 11 a.m. PDT on The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
